Why Choose Us
There are a number of reasons why you should choose us. The safety of your children and their friends is our number 1 priority, meaning we will never set up an inflatable in an unsafe way.
The steps we have taken are as follows:
- Our inflatables have either been registered with PIPA or have a manufacturers safety certificate if new, to ensure they are safe and comply with BS EN 14960
- Our operators have been trained by and passed the RPII exam
- We have full public liability insurance, and would be happy to show you our certificate
- We check all inflatables when setting up, with a pressure testing device, to ensure it meets minimum pressures laid out by HSE
- We regularly inspect our castles to ensure there are no issues with them
If you are looking around at other bouncy castle hire companies, before booking, you should ask the company:
- Are your inflatables registered with PIPA and can I see a copy of a current safety certificate to show compliance with BS EN 14960, if not and your castle is less than 12 months old, do you have a manufacturers test certificate
- Are your operators trained to RPII standards (this can be checked by entering your postcode HERE and you will see all RPII trained operators close to you.)
- Do you have public liability insurance and can I see a copy of your certificate
- Do you check inflatables when you set them up to ensure they meet the minimum internal pressure set by HSE
If they cannot answer yes to ALL of the above, then you really should steer clear, they are not operating legally.
Accidents do happen often on bouncy castles and other inflatables, however, most of the time they are minor bumps and scrapes. Serious accidents are few and far between, luckily, but this is down to the good work of HSE and RPII working together to introduce more stringent safety standards that control how castles are manufactured and set up.
Insurance
While most operators have public liability insurance (some don't) if your event includes members of the public, eg a school fete or other events not like a birthday party, then bouncy castle hirers are required to have extended public liability. The standard cover does not cover public events. It is therefore greatly important that you don't just accept a public liability certificate, you actually check what it covers. We do have this extra cover, so we are insured for any type of event.
Castle Age
We only have very new castles. Over the years the stitching and bedding ages and wears from use, and this reduces the internal pressure of the castle, which is a safety risk. But further to this, the aging causes the castles to simply look old and worn. This is the reason we have bought new castles, and they will be replaced before this aging happens, so that your party is perfect with a stylish castle that your children deserve.
